This LP has been created using audio that has been slowed down through the use of the open source program Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch from the twelve individual tracks of 'Music in Twelve Parts' by the Philip Glass Ensemble.

Once the project had been conceived all creative decisions were made through the use of chance processes inspired by the creative methods of John Cage. This involved a series of dice rolls making decisions on which sections of audio would be used and how the tracks would be sequenced on the final LP. Any ambiguity or clashes in this decision making process were resolved through tossing a coin.

Each selected segment of audio has been processed to last as close to 12 minutes as possible. Any tracks which came out of the stretching process not exactly 12 minutes long have been either cut or had silence added to the end to bring them to the required length. Each new Part has been given a fade out starting 12 seconds before the end of the track.

The track titles all correspond to the original Part/track which the audio was taken from.

This LP is dedicated to the Philip Glass Ensemble and John Cage.
